John is the Managing Partner of Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon. He is also Consulting Partner with considerable experience in working with large to medium sized privately owned businesses and professional services firms in developing and achieving their strategic plans. John has extensive experience in property joint ventures and in the corporate finance area. He is a non-executive director of a number of Irish companies and has served on various committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Aidan Byrne is lead tax partner with Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon and has 27 years experience working initially in the Revenue Commissioners, and for the last 10 years in the private sector. Aidan is particularly active in all property related matters including structuring and negotiation of property joint ventures.

Catherine joined Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon in 2000 and is a Consulting Partner with the firm and sits on the firms executive board. She set up the HR Management consulting division in 2003 and now heads up the newly merged service following the merger with Polaris HR in April, 2011.

A graduate of UCD and NCI, she has over 20 years experience in senior management and HR roles across a variety of sectors – Public Service, Retail and professional services. She has also recently obtained a first class honours Diploma in Corporate Governance from UCD Smurfit School of business

Catherine’s expert facilitation skills allow her to successfully work with Management groups both in developing and implementing strategy in a way that ensures accountability and success. She also advises in relation to organisational structure and management processes and works with key people developing personal/career plans using a combination of coaching and psychometric profiling.

She acts as an advisor to numerous Boards of directors facilitating their arrival at best practice governance issues while delivering outcomes in terms of delivering strategy. She works closely with our internal audit division in delivering value added risk management services.

Under her executive leadership the firm won the country’s top HR award in 2007 – CIPD excellence in HR Awards beating competition from top corporate companies in the process.

Mac Dolan is an audit and assurance partner with Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon and has extensive audit and assurance experience working with national and international clients. Mac is the firm’s lead internal audit partner.

Julie Herlihy, tax partner, has extensive experience in advising clients ranging from owner managed companies to multinationals.  She lectures for several professional bodies, was the chairman of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants for 2008/09 and represents the Consultative Committee of Accounting Bodies of Ireland on the TALC Revenue Audit sub-committee with Revenuee. She co-authored the Institute of Taxation’s 2010 Corporation Tax book

Brian is the firm’s Corporate Finance Partner and has assisted clients who are disposing of their business and also clients making acquisitions. He advises clients on identifying suitable sources of finance whether for Development Capital, MBO, MBI and has considerable experience of negotiating with funding institutions and due diligence work.

Niamh Larkin specialises in Audit and Business Support for wide range of clients across a number of different sectors as one of the firms audit Partners. Niamh is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has a BA in Accountancy from the University of Ulster Jordanstown. Niamh is an examiner of the Final Admitting Exams for the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

George has extensive experience gained over the past 30 years in Corporate Consulting, Investigations and Insolvency. He is a specialist in Corporate Recovery and acts for clients and stakeholders in both the private and public sector. He has served as a Member of the Global Council with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is a Past President of ACCA Ireland and currently represents ACCA on CCAB-I. George is on the Board of a number of companies located within the IFSC.

Terry is responsible for the delivery of a range of consulting services aimed at assisting private and public sector organisations to maximize the benefits derived from their investment in information and communications technology and related process improvement. Prior to joining Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon, Terry was employed in the advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

A Chartered Accountant, he was responsible for the delivery of assignments to a portfolio of private and public sector entities based throughout Ireland and Britain. He has over a decade of experience in aiding growing organisations to introduce efficiency and effectiveness to their activities via appropriate expenditure on applications and process enhancement.

Suzanne has 20 years experience as an accountant and tax advisor in areas such as personal and corporation tax, farm taxation issues, VAT on property and tax planning issues. She works closely with start up and existing businesses and individuals, assisting them in achieving their financial objectives. Suzanne manages the Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon branch in Birr, Co. Offaly, offering a wide range of professional services to clients throughout the midlands.

Liam has more than 30 years experience in general practice, including business advisory services with emphasis on inward investment, corporate governance and risk management support. He is currently a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of VHI Healthcare and has served on various committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and as President of the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
