The tax department at BTRG is a very supportive working environment. Teamwork is one of our strongest attributes. I receive excellent on the job training from all my colleagues including Managers, Directors and Partners. The work is diverse and challenging. A real advantage of working in the tax department at BTRG is that my work involves dealing with issues under a wide variety of tax heads. The experience I get in the office is invaluable at such a early stage of my career. A typical day can start with preparing an income tax return for a high net worth individual, and end with preparing submissions to the Revenue Commissioners for a company in respect of their VAT returns. I also receive great support from the tax team on my journey to obtain my professional qualifications. This is very beneficial to me in helping me through my exams.
There is more to BTRG than just the office - we have a very active sports and social club, with all employees having the opportunity to take part in fun tournaments such as soccer and tag rugby. This is where we carry our good teamwork skills to the sports field.
