Q. What are the main responsibilities of your job?

I'm a memberof the firms executive borad and also manage the firms HR Consulting service with directors Gerry Rooney and Ray Flaherty. It's a really nice mix of management and front line service delivery in the area of HR/Business Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Corporate Governance and Talent Management.

The ability to make a difference, fairness and rigour of approach

Q. What was the most valuable lesson you ever learnt in business?

Your greatest strength can also be a weakness

Q. Whom do you most admire in Industry & Why?

Anne Herrity, CEO of CPL. She has built a really successful business from scratch.

Q. Are you member of any clubs/groups?

A really great book club and the alumni group from the UCD class of 09 Diploma in Corporate Governance. Both groups offer friendship, support and lively conversation.

Q. What advice would you give to someone starting out in your position?

There is no easy route - you have to work hard, get into the detail and never think you know it all - no-one does. Read a newspaper from cover to cover everyday - it sounds simplistic but you will build up a fountain of knowledge over the years.

Q. Who would your ultimate dinner companion be and why?

That would be my sister Rhona - She lives in Canada and I don't get to see her often - she is incredible!

Q. What are you currently reading?

'Before I go to sleep' by S.J. Watson - a thriller about a woman whose amnesia means that each morning she's forgotten the day before. It opens with her 49 year old self looking in the mirror with shock, as yesterday...she was 21!

Q. What would your dream job be- real or fantasy?

I'd love to write books- ones that sell millions!
